Laura Braza - Artistic Director
Laura is the Artistic Director of the Attic Theater Company as well as a freelance director and teaching artist. NYC: Moonchildren, Dark Rapture, Wonderful World, This One Time In Last Chance, The Time of Your Life, The Tutors, The Notebook of Trigorin, Strictly Dishonorable, the dreamer examines his pillow, and On The Verge (Or the Geography of Yearning) (all for The Attic Theater Company); Friend of the Devil and If I Were You (Harold Clurman Theater); work at NYMF, FringeNYC, Dixon Place, Atlantic Theater Company’s Stage II, InGenius Theater Festival, and Sam French OOB. . Regional: Grounded, Souvenir, and the upcoming Always...Patsy Cline (Milwaukee Repertory Theater), The Dispute and If You Give a Pig a Pancake (Hangar Theater). Ted Caine - Executive Director
Ted Caine has been the Executive Director of The Attic Theater Company since its inception in 2007 and is proud to produce theater in New York City. Working in finance by day and teaching yoga on the side, Ted's work with The Attic brings his love of theater, business and drive to build community full circle.
Noelle Franco - Company Manager
Noelle Franco is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She is a working actor, director, and producer in NYC. Her acting credits include Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Center Stage), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (New York Classical Theatre) and Saturday, Sunday, Monday (Virginia Rep). Her directorial credits include Cowboys #2 by Sam Shepherd (The Attic Theater Company) and Sunset, a one act by Gary Jaffe. In addition, she was the assistant director for The Attic’s summer production of The Dreamer Examines His Pillow by John Patrick Shanley.
Monica Hammond - Marketing Director
Monica Hammond is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School. She has been working in the theater for over a decade as a performer and marketing professional for Broadway, Off-Broadway and beyond. In 2007 Monica became a founding member of the Attic Theater Company, and has since worked on Broadway shows such as Spring Awakening and It's Only a Play, and Off-Broadway shows Daddy Long Legs (Davenport Theatre), That Bachelorette Show (42West), A Better Place (The Duke), Awesome 80s Prom (42West), Strictly Dishonorable (The Flea), and many more.. www.monicahammond.com
Julia Noulin-Merat - Resident Scenic Designer, Producing Associate
In addition to being the resident set designer and producing associate for Attic Theater in New York, Julia Noulin-Mérat is Associate Producer for Boston Lyric Opera and is Director of Design and Production for Guerilla Opera. She has designed over 350 opera, theater, immersive shows and television productions, including: Beowulf, Heart of a Dog, Gallo, Troubled Water and Pedr Solis at Guerilla Opera; Clemency, In the Penal Colony and La Traviata at Boston Lyric Opera; Bluebeard's Castle at Opera Omaha; Madama Butterfly at Opera New Jersey and El Paso Opera; Twenty Seven and Sumeida's Song at Pittsburgh Opera; Transformations and Marriage of Figaro at Boston Conservatory; L'Heure Espagnole and Scalia/ Ginsburg at Castleton Festival; The Barber of Seville at LoftOpera; Romeo et Juliette at Atlanta Opera; and La Descente d'Orphée aux Enfers at Gotham Chamber Opera.
